Rohidas Dilip Survase (Sonu) is the driving force behind Save Education Society — a movement born out of his relentless commitment to student welfare and educational justice. Witnessing firsthand the corruption and mismanagement plaguing colleges across Maharashtra, he channelled public outrage into organized, peaceful action.

From filing hundreds of RTIs to leading massive signature campaigns and indefinite hunger strikes, Sonu has become a recognized voice for educational accountability in the Kalyan-Dombivli region and beyond. His work has been featured in major newspapers and has brought thousands of students, parents, and educators together under one banner.

The student-welfare decisions taken by the college — and our demands to ensure they are upheld and expanded for every student at this institution.

Stop Illegal Extra Bank Fees of ₹1,500
The college must permanently stop charging students an illegal extra bank fee of ₹1,500. This unauthorized charge must be refunded and discontinued immediately.

Reimburse ₹1,700 Saved via Smart-Sapling Fund
Funds saved through the Smart-Sapling initiative — amounting to ₹1,700 per student — must be returned directly to the students for whom they were collected.

Fair Fee Structure as Per Rules
All fees must comply with the established regulatory structure. No ad-hoc or unauthorized charges should be levied on any student at any point in the academic year.

Close Illegal Private Canteen on Campus
The privately operated, unauthorized canteen running on college premises must be closed and replaced with a transparent, student-welfare-oriented facility.

Free Housing for Out-of-Town Students
Students who come from other cities to study at this college must be provided free housing facilities within or affiliated to the campus as per their welfare entitlements.

Free Medical Aid for All Students
The college must provide free medical assistance and healthcare support to all enrolled students — through on-campus facilities or tie-ups with local hospitals.

Organize Free Competitive Exam Coaching
The college should partner with coaching institutes and faculty to provide free competitive exam preparation programs, helping students access government jobs and higher education.

Start NCC and NSS Units
NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) units must be established at the college, giving students access to leadership training and community service opportunities.

University Sports Ground — Students Only
The university sports ground on college premises must be made accessible exclusively to students during academic hours — not used for external commercial or private events.
